PREPARATION OF COURT FORMS AND OTHER DOCUMENTS
- The Court Assistance Office has electronic versions of many court forms necessary for family law cases, and these forms can be accessed and completed on Court Assistance Office computers. The computers may also be used for creating other documents necessary in your particular case.
LEGAL RESEARCH
- The Idaho State Law Library can provide you with some legal research information and assistance. The library staff can be contacted at (208) 334-3316, or at their website: http://www.isll.idaho.gov. Government agencies and other organizations have made available a wealth of legal resources over the Internet. These materials can be accessed on the Court Assistance Office computers. On the Internet, one can access state and municipal statutes, acquire information on advocacy organizations, order legal publications, and much more.
CHECK THE STATUS OF YOUR CASE
- The State of Idaho offers the ISTARS program to check the current status of a court case, and this service can be accessed on Court Assistance Office computers.
CHILD SUPPORT COMPUTATION
- The Court Assistance Offices have computer programs for use in calculating child support. The calculation of child support, necessary in pursuing certain court actions, is greatly simplified by the use of this program. This program can be accessed through Court Assistance Office computers.
